The original camp was dragged across the ice in the 1930's as a hunting/fishing camp; one of the first on the east shore, indeed before there was a road! When we purchased the camp, it had not been occupied for many years. We brought the property along, raised our family vacationing there for many years. Such a wonderful spot. But the old camp was tired, and when it was time for a new roof, well - the walls wouldn't support one. (the original structure was a chicken coop!) So we opted to rebuild. Newly rebuilt cottage with screen porch, kitchen and living room on main floor. Lovely lake views with lots of sunlight. Three bedrooms, 1+ 1/2 baths, nice patio area, campfire by lake shore. Private dock and swim raft. nice gardens. Embden Lake is a gem. It is up to 170' deep and spring fed, so the water is incredibly clear and clean, with a stone lined shore and gravel clear bottom. By mid summer it does warm up some, but remains incredibly refreshing! The camp is part of an association and the common area is open to all.

Embden Pond is located on the edge of Maine wilderness areas but also less than an hour from city life. Embden is a 5 mile long lake with some of the cleanest water in Maine. Boating, fishing, canoe and kayak. You can just relax and enjoy or be active with nearby white water rafting, drift fishing the Kennebec, hiking, biking, atv rental, and numerous other activity. Cabin has 2 kitchens ( including dish washer) 2 baths, 4 bedrooms, cable, wi fi and spacious yard. June 14 thru Aug 31 will include both units use. Out side of that window rates include only one unit but the second unit can be added for an additional fee of $75 per night.

This Victorian home in the center of Kingfield is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Sugarloaf is 17 minutes north of Kingfield. New this year is shuttle service 7 days a week to Sugarloaf Base Lodge that picks up right behind our house. If you prefer snowmobiling, there's immediate access to major snow mobile trails right in town. We have 3 bedrooms and 1 bath on the second floor to accommodate 6 people. We supply all linens including extra blankets and pillows. The entire house is yours to use including a large living room, dining room and eat in kitchen. Our spacious dinning room has plenty of room for you and the whole family. We have a cozy living room area with a TV that as both basic cable and Netflix. We have a laundry room that will be available for guest for an extra $5 a load. There is a designated smoking area just off of the garage we ask all guest to pick up after themselves.

We have a 27 bed room house that we have single and double rates available. We are a peaceful quiet house with plenty of room to share. We do not tolerate loud noises, excessive drinking and have a zero tolerance for illegal substances. Pet's are welcomed at an additional rate. All guests are required to clean up after themselves and their pets. There is absolutely no smoking inside our building and we have designated smoking areas outside. Lake Wesserunsett is stocked with Brook and Brown Trout and also features great Bass and white perch fishing.
